Trump’s “Perfect Phone Call” was an assault on truth. Trump’s phone call has led to one of the most critical investigations against former president Trump. Mr. Trump will be booked at the Fulton County (Georgia) jail within a week. After more than 2 1/2 years of investigation by, the Fulton County Attorney General (Fani Willis) announced the results. Nineteen people were indicted

The underlying cause of Trump’s potential conviction on multiple felonies was his assault on truth. Trump and eighteen other people have been charged with participating in a criminal enterprise. The goal was to turn the state’s 2020 election results over. In a sense, Trump created a gang.

The “Enterprise” carried out an assault on the truth, led by a man who lied, according to Professor David Markowitz, more than 23 times per day in 2020. The Washington Post reported that Trump lied 30,573 times over 4 years. The “Big Lie” was that Trump won the election and that it was stolen from him. Even today, Trump sticks with that lie, even if every judicial agency investigating some aspect of the 2020 presidential election found no fraud. Joe Biden won by a very large margin in the popular and electoral vote. The nineteen people indicted by the Fulton County Grand Jury were living the lie perpetuated by Donald Trump and his close allies, including his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, and his chief of staff, Mark Meadows, as well as additional lawyers at the White House, and many elected members of Congress.

The Perfect Call

On January 2, 2021, Trump (after 18 attempts) held a one-hour phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and attorney Ryan Germany. Trump was joined by Chief of staff Mark Meadows, trade adviser Peter Navarro, Justice Department official John Lott, law professor John C. Eastman, and attorneys Rudy Giuliani, Cleta Mitchell, Alex Kaufman, and Kurt Hilbert.

You may have listened to the phone call; I don’t know. I’ve included a YouTube recording of the call in case you want to hear it again. If you haven’t listened to it, it’s worth some time to hear examples of Trump’s and his allies’ assault on the truth.
