Jack Hassard, author of numerous books on science and science education examines the interplay of politics and science to unravel the effects that Donald Trump and his administration had on American society.

Using Robert Jay Lifton’s concept of “a witnessing professional,” and Charles C. Ault’s introduction of him as Citizen Jack, The Trump Files is Citizen Jack Hassard’s compelling observation and analysis into how Donald Trump effected not only American democracy, but human rights, science and public health.

Although not a journalist or media personality he uses his researcher, blogger, professor, and citizen credentials to create a political science story about a grim period when Donald Trump was president.

He weaves his abilities as an accomplished author and teacher of science, with citizen diplomacy, blogging, and the local politics of Georgia to compose a history of a president and his administration who undermined the tenants of a liberal democracy, nearly overthrowing the American government with his Big Lie and attempted coup d’état.

In the months ahead more information and excerpts from the book will be provided.

The Trump Files, by Jack Hassard, presents Donald Trump as an existential threat to not only the US but the entire world. It details his efforts to push an authoritarian state, his disrespect towards American allies, and detrimental impact on various areas like democracy, human rights, science, and public health. The author fears Trump’s potential return in 2024 and warns of the grave implications. However, the author upholds faith in the democratic process and underscores the power of voting in preventing a downside for the American society.

Not So Special Grand Jury’s Partial Final Report

Judge Robert C.I. McBurney, Superior Court of Fulton County, released a portion of Fulton County Special Purpose Grand Jury. I’ve been looking forward to this report for nearly a year.

The Special Purpose Grand Jury was empaneled on January 24, 2022, more than a year after former President Trump called the Georgia Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger. Trump made the Call to pressure the secretary to not only recount the election votes, but to find 11,700 votes.
