Donald Trump is the most merciless President that the United States put in the White House.  Although he was given more electoral votes than Hillary Clinton, Trump lost the election by vote tally, meaning he is a loser.  This fact, that he receive 3 million fewer votes than Hillary Clinton, has angered him to no end.  The first time that press secretary Shaun Spicer met with the White House Press Corps, he insisted that more people were on the mall than Obama’s 2008 election, period.  Trump lied to us when he said that the 3 million voters were actually cast by illegal aliens.  Another words, there were 3 million people voting fraudulently across the U.S.  That would mean that were on average, 56 thousand votes cast illegally in each state, and well as Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam.  Of course, he set up a crack committee to investigate voter fraud in the U.S.  But, we know from studies at major universities, that there have been about 10 cases of voter fraud in the last 10 years, out of billions of votes.

But Trump does score high on some aspects of his behavior. Very few people can beat Trump in these aspects of behavior:

• disdain
• hatred
• indifference
• mercilessness
• discord
• apathy
• unfeelingness
• spite
• narcissism
• retaliation
• revenge
• cruelty

Since late August, the U.S. states and territories of Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and California have suffered from unprecedented hurricanes out of the Atlantic and the worst fires to break out in California.  In Texas, especially the greater Houston area hundreds of thousands of people are suffering from the effects of Hurricane Harvey, and many Florida communities are faced with disaster relief and rebuilding for months if not years.

But it is Puerto Rico and California citizens that are suffering.  Puerto Rico is in a condition very few of us can imagine. As of today, 90% of the island has no electricity, and third is without water.  Phone calls can not be made by more than 1.5 million people.  Only a small portion of roads are open for travel, restricting the movement of goods and services needed across the island.  In California, hundreds of homes and businesses have been destroyed, and most of the fires in the northern California area are not contained.

So what does the President of the United States do during this month of extreme climate change conditions?  Millions of people are at risk, but all Trump is interested is how well he thinks he’s doing–he’s interested in only his own ratings–and the truth is that his ratings are dismal.  In the last month, Trump has

• Thrown paper towels at people in Puerto Rico.
• Blamed the people of Puerto Rico for having bad debt rather than saying that we’ll be here with you until the island is back where it should be–a home to 3.5 million.
• Picked a fight with the mayor of San Juan, and instead of showing any empathy, ignored her pleas for help.
• Removes the last glimmer of a safety net for more than 6 million Americans by removing subsides to insurance companies who then offer full coverage for the ACA.  The Republicans, as usual, refer to the government payments as “bailouts” for the insurers, while it’s quite obvious these payments are what make health insurance affordable to the poor.
• Put all Americans at risk by using nuclear weapons as a threat against N. Korea, and making a dangerous decision about the Iran Nuclear deal, which was signed by five other countries.
