Kamala is My Choice for President. Who’s Yours?

It’s Election Day in the United States. I’m writing this at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time. Millions of Americans will stand in line to vote. By 7:00 p.m., a third of the country will have voted. By 10:00, nearly all those wanting to vote will have cast their votes. Kamala was my choice. Who was yours?

I wish the press had been honest about the context of this election. One of the core issues is the media’s infatuation with bothsidesism. It’s the idea that every story has two equally valid sides. Each side deserves equal weight, even when one side is demonstrably false or harmful. Equating Kamala to Trump is what you see every night on TV. They make it look like any other American presidential election, don’t they?

One candidate was convicted of 34 felonies for trying to interfere with the election process. He’ll be sentenced later this month in a New York court. But candidate Trump has also been convicted (held liable) for sexual assault and rape. He was found guilty of defrauding New York State in a separate trial. He was investigated for two years in the Mueller investigation. And Don’t forget his two impeachments for bribery against the president of Ukraine and the insurrection on January 6, 2021. Then, there are three separate indictments for an attempted coup of the 2020 election and stealing classified documents.

It’s not a normal election.

Kamala Harris embodies the courage and effectiveness that America needs in its leadership. She was born into a family that instilled strong values of justice and equality. She has become a formidable presidential candidate and a beacon of hope for many. As an effective prosecutor and former California Attorney General, Harris has consistently supported the rule of law. Kamala demonstrates her commitment to justice while standing firm against those who threaten democracy.

In her role as U.S. Senator, she gained respect for her intelligence and ability to connect with people on a human level. Her performance in the debate against Trump was nothing short of spectacular. She trounced him with poise and clarity, showcasing her leadership strength. She showed us how to stand up to demagoguery and fascism.

Her supporters adore Kamala for being caring, empathic, and progressive. She brings forth innovative ideas to boost the economy for families and new businesses. She is a leader in the fight to protect women’s rights, advocating fiercely for individual’s autonomy over their bodies. Her openness to dialogue and commitment to progressive ideas stand out. Kamala Harris is an influential politician and a symbol of hope in turbulent times.

In this era where leadership is often questioned, Kamala Harris stands out. She is someone who combines compassion with action. A true testament to what it means to lead effectively while remaining grounded in humanity.

Watch the Debate to Bear Witness to a Delusional, Con-Man Who Can’t Tell the Truth

Donald Trump, a delusional old man, will stand on the same stage as Vice-President Kamala Harris on September 10 in a debate on ABC moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis. It won’t be a debate. It will be a TV show casting a convicted felon, sexual abuser, and a fraudster against the Vice President who is an experienced prosecutor, district attorney of San Francisco, Attorney General of California, and now as the Vice-President of the United States. ABC news advanced advertising does nothing to point these differences, instead normalizing a criminal with serious psychological and harmful beliefs about America.

Into the Storm, Again

Into the Storm, Again

As the 2024 presidential election looms, the echoes of the past grow louder. Trump and Trumpism have stirred a storm that threatens to repeat itself.

Trump’s dangerousness and continued authoritarian language echo present and past strongmen such as Berlusconi, Putin, and Hitler.

The storm raging is Trumpism, and it must be blown out to sea.
