Today, January 6, thousands of American terrorists attacked the United States Capitol. Right-wing hate groups participated in the attack. They incorrectly believed they were being patriotic by attacking the very center of the United States government. On this infamous day, terrorists attacked the United States. They acted on orders from the President of the United States. They were not patriots, they were criminal terrorists.
Trump should have been found guilty by the U.S. Senate for the insurrection. But Mitch McConnell blew it by crying foul. That is, Trump was not a sitting president at the time of the Senate Trial.
