I’ve changed the Word Press Theme for my site, and I hope you like the new look. It’s called Neptune, and reflects the content of the site more closely in that we talk about science and science education. The theme is cleaner than the previous theme that I used, and I hope will be easier for you to read.
And of course, Neptune is still considered a planet of our Solar System, and being that it is the eighth planet from the Sun, puts it at the outer edge of our Solar System. Neptune was the Roman god of the sea, and thus connects nicely with Earth, the water planet. Although identified and named as a planet in 1846 by English and French astronomers, Neptune was first observed by Galileo, but he thought it was just a star!
I’ve been traveling recently, and haven’t made as many posts as I would like. Look for continued postings. Best regards, Jack
