I was a high school science teacher, and and university science educator for nearly 40 years. For the past 17 years I’ve been writing The Art of Teaching Science blog, buying and selling 18th and 19th Century English and French antiques, and more recently, learning to draw and paint.
Artistry is a guide is not only a personal account of teaching, but also based on research on teaching. I think it is important to acknowledge our personal view of teaching–to talk and write about it. I hope that this guide will help you think about your teaching.
